Imagon is a family business founded in Kajaani in 1988. Imagon Group includes companies in Finland, Sweden and Norway. We serve our Nordic customers throughout Europe.
We have extensive experience in LED technology, product development and project management. We do everything we can to offer our customers not only quality products, but also the best possible customer experience, whether the wish is a turnkey delivery or a customized product according to the customer's own specifications with punctual delivery.

Light and colour to people’s grey everyday lives
The story of Imagon began as a garage company. The founder of the company, Arto Okkonen, was working in the paper industry in the early 80s, but during the dark evening hours he started to drive his van around Kainuu spotting broken illuminated advertisements on the walls and roofs of companies. One of the sons, Mika also often sat in the van with his lunch on his lap.
Arto started to make business by calling these companies and asking if these illuminated advertisements should be repaired. The service area in Finland expanded from Kajaani to Rovaniemi and Iisalmi, and in '88 it was time to move on to illuminated advertisements altogether.
The cornerstone of the growth was that more people were hired, and the operating model effectively duplicated. The operations expanded nationwide. When asked what field the company operates in, Arto’s answer was: "We bring light and colour to people's grey everyday lives."

2017 Imagon expands the range to include indoor products for commercial premises
2019 Imagon Oy acquires Neonpoint Oy from Kangasala
2021 Mika and Mikko Okkonen become the main owners of the company
